Low Calorie Sweet Treats for Weight Loss

Written by Vanessa Carrillo

If you’re anything like me, bookmark this blog because I’m one of those people who need a sweet treat after my meals. I purposefully only chose desserts that can be made in less than 10 minutes because who can wait until a banana is frozen to make banana ice cream? Not me.

Chocolate Pudding Snack

I love Nutella, but it’s unrealistic to eat an entire jar of it. Luckily, this recipe has changed the game for me. It’s high protein and you probably already have the ingredients in your house. It’s 198 calories with an added bonus of 10g of protien.

Sauteed Apples (a la Mode!)

This dessert is only 188 calories without the ice cream. It can count towards your produce intake since it’s just an apple.

Chickpea Cookie Dough (That Actually Tastes Good)

With only 67 calories per serving, this chickpea cookie dough will be you new go-to. The best part is it takes less than 5 minutes to make.

Roasted Peaches

There was no nutrition facts for this recipe, but I estimated around 80 calories for half a peach (30 calories) with 1 tablespoon of sugar (50 calories). You can always decrease the sugar to half a tablespoon (25 calories) or even a teaspoon (16 calories).

Take advantage that most farmer markets are still going on and peaches are in season.
